Cold Springs completed the 2016 season with a 5-6 record. With their 4-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 2A region seven, the Eagles earned a spot in the playoffs in 2016. The Bulldogs ended last season on a positive note with a win over Good Hope by a score of 32-13 after failing to gain a playoff spot.
